Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 4 am–10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.

Its Google rating stands at 2.6 out of 5 from 169 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Newark is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Newark is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I was expecting a larger portion for my breakfast entree. Restaurant wasn't busy at 10:30am but the kitchen seemed slow. Took about 15 minutes to get my food. Choice of 2 bacon or 2 sausage (might ask for turkey sausage otherwise it would be pork) - taste was ok Any type of egg - I picked scrambled. Not too impressive. A bit dry. Hash - commercial hash balls. Go great with ketchup. The ketchup cup was enormous and it helped finishing the dish. Toast - bitter and grape jam were given. Overall the breakfast was ok. I paid with two $15 meal vouchers from my airline when flight got cancelled. Receipt time reads 10:19, it was really 11:19.

I was in the mood for a salad, served on a proper plate with real cutlery. The Farmhouse salad delivered (chickpeas, feta, olives, lettuce, quinoa, and cherry tomatoes, with a Greek dressing). The waitress, Carmen, had a lovely and welcoming aura. Someone else mentioned her in their review. I sat at the bar and a few fellow travellers and I began chatting. It’s that kind of a place. The pizzas looked appealing. The pizza maker turned out one pizza after another πŸ•- I took a photo of one for this review, but didn’t order any😊. There was a friendly ambiance amongst the staff, calling each other Mamma. Carmen explained they have been working together for about eight years and were transferred from another restaurant site. It was nice to witness.

Do not eat here unless you enjoy paying good money for disappointment served on a plate. There was no host or greeting. I found my own table and ordered off a QR code with zero staff interaction. I ordered the bucatini with meatballs; what arrived was a bowl of mostly pasta with just two meatballs, completely lacking flavor and so dry, choking was a real concern. Beyond dropping off water and the subpar dish, there was no service to speak of. I paid over $40 for this forgettable meal and left without anyone noticing.

Wild Mushroom and Rosemary pizza was amazing! I was craving pizza and loved the wood fired pizza. Ordered through the QR code and the pizza came out in 10-15 mins. Good music, not too overcrowded, and good food!

Just had the β€œeggs any style” breakfast, and it had no taste. Salt and pepper weren’t provided, and I had already left the restaurant by the time I noticed. The turkey sausage was also dry. Overall, it wasn’t worth the extra money I paid to eat breakfast there instead of going to a nearby spot with more affordable options.
